Active on the belgian jazz scene since 2008, Adrien Volant is constantly pushing musical exploration and expression to the next level.
In 2008, he moved to Brussels, where he attended the Royal Conservatory of Brussels and graduated with a Master in Music and Arts. The same year, he was awarded Best Soloist at the Jazz Competition organized by 'la Maison du Jazz en Hainaut'. In 2010, his quartet won the second prize at the Jazz Competition organized by the 'Comblain-la-tour festival'. Beside school, he had THE OPPORTUNITY TO MEET SOME trumpet masters as Ralph Alessi, Jason Palmer, Philip Dizack, claudio roditi, BERT JORIS and Richard rousselet. In 2012, at the age of 25, Adrien was selected to join the Youth Jazz World Ochestra with whom he toured in several countries. A year later, his hometown Mons honored him through the exhibition "We want Jazz".
Since then he has TOURED in Belgium, France, Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, Germany, Holland and Spain. HE performed alongside a wide array of musicians and in many genres - in festivals, clubs, concert halls - with the likes of Godwin Louis, JM Jazz World Orchestra, Va Fan Fahre, Jazz Station BigBand, Paolo Loveri, Benoit Vanderstraeten, Félix Simtaine, Bart De Nolf, Antoine Pierre, Bram De Looze, Stéphane Mercier, lorenzo di maio, Wim Eggermont, guillaume vierset and many more.
In 2019, after several project as leader, Adrien released his debut record entitled "First Flow" (Fresh Sound Records) with his trio and the great new-york based saxophonist Godwin Louis.
